The Two Rivers villagers (Mat, Egwene, Rand, and Perrin) flee with Moiraine and Lan from pursuing Trollocs and a Fade. In a Whitecloak encampment, the Whitecloaks burn an Aes Sedai. Rand, Perrin, Mat, and Egwene reluctantly join Moiraine and Lan on their journey back to the White Tower to keep the Trollocs away from Emond's Field.
